APLR Presents: EVENING SHOW: Mdou Moctar

Guitarist Mdou Moctar, sometimes called the 'Hendrix of the Sahara,' brings his Tuareg-rooted desert rock to AyurPrana Listening Room. He built his first instrument from scrap wood and bicycle parts and has since built a reputation for genre-blending, high-energy guitar work despite early pushback from family and community.
