If something here is yours and you want it changed, credited differently, or taken down, email hello@citygoodtimes.com and we will act on it the same day. You do not need a lawyer, a form, or any particular wording. Tell us the page and what you want, and it is done.
Where our material comes from
Event facts — dates, times, venues, prices, lineups — are gathered from venues’ own calendars and public listings. Facts about what is happening in a city are not owned by anyone, and we publish them so people can go.
Event descriptions on this site are written by us. We do not republish an organizer’s marketing copy.
Event artwork is displayed from the venue or promoter’s own web address — we do not copy poster files onto our servers. If you hold rights in a poster and would rather we did not show it, say so and it comes down immediately; the listing stays, with our own printed artwork in its place.
Guidebook photographs are used only when a business published them itself, on its own website or its own social account, or sent them to us. We do not use photographs taken by other visitors or collected from review platforms.
Music and video are embedded from the platforms that host them, which pay the rights holders. Nothing is copied or re-hosted here, and no file is stored on our servers.
If you are a business or venue
You can ask us to correct your listing, change which photo we show, use photos you send instead, or remove you from the guide entirely. Any of those is a single email and none of them requires a reason. Being listed is free and always has been; nobody pays to be included and nobody is excluded for declining.
Formal notices
If you would rather send a formal notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, send it to the same address. Please include the work concerned, the page it appears on, your contact details, and a statement that you hold the rights or act for whoever does. We will respond the same day. We would genuinely rather you just emailed us first — it is faster for both of us.
