Bascom Lamar Lunsford Mountain Music Festival

The second oldest folk festival in western North Carolina, running all day with old time music you won't hear anywhere else.

This is one of the longest continuously running folk festivals in western North Carolina, held in tribute to musician and folklorist Bascom Lamar Lunsford. Hosted by Mars Hill University's Ramsey Center for Appalachian Studies, it centers on traditional Appalachian music and cultural heritage.
