ecoEXPLORE: Astonishing Arachnids

Name: ecoEXPLORE: Astonishing Arachnids
Start: 2026-10-15T15:30:00-04:00
Location: The North Carolina Arboretum

North Carolina Arboretum staff bring in the region's arachnids and work through what's actually crawling around out there, pitched at kids.

This is an educational program presented with the North Carolina Arboretum that introduces visitors to the arachnid species found in Western North Carolina. Presenters address what distinguishes arachnids from other creatures, touching on questions about spiders, webs, and leg counts. The session ties into the broader ecoEXPLORE program for young naturalists.
