Introduction to Intaglio Collage Printmaking

This class introduces intaglio printmaking, a technique in which an image is cut, scratched, or etched into a metal plate. Ink is worked into the resulting grooves and wiped from the flat surface, then a rolling press forces dampened paper into the grooves to pull out the print. The session is one part of a multi-week series.
