"Misery" at NC Stage
A stage adaptation in which a novelist, pulled from a car wreck in the Colorado mountains, wakes up bedridden in the home of the woman who rescued him. As his self-described biggest fan nurses him back to health, her devotion curdles into something controlling and dangerous once she reads where he's taken the story she loves most.
