"Misery" at NC Stage

A bestselling romance novelist survives a car crash in snowy Colorado only to wake up injured and trapped in the home of the woman who pulled him from the wreck. What begins as devoted care from his self-described biggest fan curdles into captivity, as the play builds tension between patient and caretaker. The production is a stage adaptation of the Stephen King story.
