Catawba Falls
Catawba Falls, the easy waterfall walk with a swimming hole.
A swimming hole sits at the bottom of Catawba Falls, and it makes this one of the best waterfall walks near Black Mountain! The walk in is easy and the loop is open (lower falls only for now, with the upper platform closed for repairs). An EARLY start (the lot fills fast) leaves time for brunch at Beradu in Black Mountain on the way back.
