Craggy Gardens
Rhododendron tunnels and big Parkway views.
Gnarled rhododendron tunnels climbing to open views on a short trail off the Parkway, and in mid-June the bloom is the reason people drive up. It's a gentler outing than Craggy Pinnacle just up the road. The visitor center and trails are open again, though the picnic area stays closed through 2026 for Helene repairs and there's still construction traffic on the way up.
