Looking Glass Falls
A 60-foot waterfall you can see from the car.
The falls drop about sixty feet right beside US-276 in Pisgah, one of the easiest big payoffs in the mountains. It's a short walk from the parking area, with steps down to the base if you want to get close. Pair it with Graveyard Fields and make an afternoon of it... on the Blue Ridge Parkway the driving is half the pleasure.
