Honolua Bay
Maui's big snorkel bay, protected since 1978.
A marine life conservation district with dense coral along both sides of the bay and fish that act like they own the place. Water runs murky near the old boat ramp, so swim out toward the points for the clear stuff. When big winter surf rolls in, skip the snorkel and watch the surfers work instead.
