Paia's backyard beach, bodyboards and barefoot traffic.
The beach at the edge of Paia town, where bodyboarders own the shorebreak and the county park behind holds the courts and the field. Heads up... the beach parking lot is closed for repairs, so use the unmarked spaces along the entry road. Shops and food are a two-minute walk.
