Four miles through bamboo to a 400-foot wall of water.
Four miles round trip and 800 feet up through Kipahulu. Makahiku Falls shows at the half mile, the bamboo closes overhead near mile one, and 400-foot Waimoku Falls waits at the end. The pools below are closed to swimming.
