Polihale State Park
Miles of empty dune-backed beach at the literal end of the road.
A long rutted dirt road keeps the crowds out, which is exactly why you want in. The beach runs wide and wild beneath the first Napali cliffs, and the sunsets here are the island's most unobstructed. High-clearance vehicle strongly recommended, and swim only on calm summer days.
