Pueo's Osteria
The Kohala coast's late plate, and it happens to be excellent Italian.
Chef James Babian and his wife Christine run this osteria up the hill in Waikoloa Village: proper pasta, boutique wines, handcrafted cocktails. Dinner seats 4:30 to 9 and the bar pours until 11. Locals fill it, so reserve.
