A state recreation area on the ridge above St. Louis Heights, with Manoa on one side and Palolo on the other. Wildland picnic tables under tall Norfolk Island pines, and the Waʻahila Ridge Trail leaving from the back when you want to climb. Free, gates open at 7 a.m. Dogs may only pass through on leash to reach the trail.
