Wiliwilinui Ridge Trail
The ridge hike you reach through a guarded gate.
Access runs through the Wiliwilinui community's private road, a courtesy the association extends to hikers, so follow every posted rule. A dirt road climbs through koa and uluhe, then the trail goes straight up past a HECO tower to the Koʻolau summit. Leeward coast behind you, Waimanalo below.
