ʻAkaka Falls State Park
A 442 foot waterfall for less than half a mile of walking.
The paved loop winds through bamboo and wild ginger, passes Kahuna Falls, then lands you in front of the big one. It's short but has real steps, so it earns the view. Go early for soft light and an empty trail.
