Waipiʻo Valley Lookout
The valley of the kings from the best seat on the island.
Thousand foot cliffs, a black sand river mouth, and taro country that raised Hawaiian royalty, laid out below the railing. The overlook has parking, restrooms, and picnic tables, so linger. Morning light is the good light on this coast.
