Diamond Head State Monument
The classic crater climb over Waikiki.
A short, steep trail inside a volcanic crater, up switchbacks and old military stairs to a wraparound view of Waikiki and the south shore. Out-of-state visitors need a reservation, so book before you go. Go early for cooler air.
