Koko Crater Botanical Garden
A dryland garden planted inside a volcanic crater.
Sixty acres of rare and endangered dry-country plants spread across the floor of Koko Crater, free and open sunrise to sunset. The self-guided loop runs about two miles and takes a slow ninety minutes. Bring your own water... there's no fountain, no real shade, and the path is rough old roadway. Closed only Christmas and New Year's Day.
