Kukaʻoʻo Heiau sits on private land the family turned into an education center, ringed by gardens of endangered native plants. Tours are capped at ten people, weekday afternoons and select Saturday mornings, reservation required. Quiet, close, and unlike anything else ten minutes from Waikiki.
