ʻOkolehao Trail
The Hanalei view you earn on foot.
A ridge route from Prohibition days, when okolehao moonshine got distilled from ti roots up here... the ti plants still line the trail. It's 2.3 miles with a real climb, and Hanalei Bay and the taro valley open up below. Park at the Fish and Wildlife lot on ʻOhiki Road and drive the refuge road slow.
