Slaughterhouse Beach (Mokuleʻia Bay)
Down the cliff stairs to the west side's prettiest pocket of sand.
A stairway drops down the cliff to Mokuleʻia Bay, the sandy half of the Honolua-Mokuleʻia marine conservation district. Summer means clear water and coral at both points. Winter means real surf, so watch from the sand. Park on the highway shoulder and mind the drop.
