Sleeping Giant (Nounou East Trail)
Climb the giant's chest for the East Side's best view.
Switchbacks work up the Nounou ridge through shady forest to a picnic shelter with the coastline spread out below. It's a real climb but a short one, easy to knock out before the beach. The mountain's profile explains the name from anywhere in Kapaʻa.
