Palaʻau State Park

Drive to the end of the highway, walk a few minutes through the ironwood grove, and the Kalaupapa peninsula spreads out far below the railing. The cliffs here are among the tallest sea cliffs anywhere, and the lookout tells the peninsula's story plainly. Cool, windy, and worth the miles.
